Day 3, Round 3:

The singers perform with a band on stage, with back-up singers (when needed). Good or bad, they won't know the verdicts until later.

First up is the kid that sang that awful hippie song "Waiting for the World To Change". The judges love him, especially Paula.

Boom-Chicky-Wow-Wow bombs.

Governor Kyle--he is surprisingly good, or at least passable. All three judges approve.

Syesha (I think she's the one that auditioned just days after her dad died, reducing Paula to tears). She makes it.

Michael Johns--the Australian. The judges can find no fault with him.
