I did not get to see/hear much last night, with the storms, etc., but I am glad to see this one leave. I don’t like to be yelled at.

Zabasearch site says: Kristy Lee Cook received the fewest phone and text votes after the March 18 performance.
I haven't been impressed with ANY of Kristy's songs.

Amanda remains in good spirits. No tears.
Carly is crying though.
She sings Back In The USSR again, trying to make the best of it.
Damn it.
If she buys an album, I'll buy it.

Then she walk out on stage live, singing "Red High Heels" That was a solid hit for her. She is looking and singing really good these days. I think some of the reason might be due to the confidence she must have gotten from her hit album and singles. I'm happy for her. :)

I think in Carly’s case it was less about her and humility (I think David C would be near the top of the list of needing some of that). And I completely agree b/c I think she’s FAR less cocky than...probably at least half of them! LOL. There are several others that seem way more self-entitled feeling, and most of them have NOT earned that, IMO!
I think it was more that she and David A have been (even publicized pre-season) as VERY well liked by the producers and that often doesn’t sit well. So I think it’s partially to counteract that, and partially because she seems SO, SO safe in the eyes of most people, that they want to make sure her voters don’t take it for granted and that she DOES go out (legitimately) before she should.
I think it was more a fan “wake up call” attempt. I think the Brooke sort of (to most people) slightly overly critical last night judging was a similar thing, and just expected that, but on a huge scale, for Carly next week (unless she was SO flawless they’d have to do it the next week).
David A got himself that last week by default...but I suspect he’ll be in the same position soon. And if Brooke has another strong week like “Let it Be” last week, she’ll probably be another oddly placed B3 or recipient of an extra-harsh judging the next week. I think those 3 and David C are probably now their hopes for F4 (I think before his mess they had David H perhaps there instead)...and they don’t want one of them going mid-season b/c of apathy or voter rebellion.

I liked the one she did country - but I prefer country to other types of music.
To: retrokitten
Nope you all aren’t alone, I like Amanda, she livens things up
