They just made a couple of corrections in the presser:
The suspect is a Corporal, and he’s the same one she alleged to have attacked her. It’s wasn’t a “Marine officer” as was reported. And he’s not a Sgt either.
Dang reporters. Can’t even get the simple stuff right.
Shaky mental health, possible repercussions—wonder if this was a suicide?
But dead.... which says that the smear, which seems to have worked for a time, was somebody's way of trying to impugn her motives.
Lesson: when the accused (the senior officer, in this case) goes ad hominem, it's worth wondering what he's trying to hide.
Another tragic story. Prayers for her, the baby and family.
If in fact she was murdered, it should be considered a double homicide. The baby was due Tuesday, January 15. A sad and shocking story.

Could it be the “father” and her had a falling out? She files charges of rape and then reconsiders and the “father” simply in anger murders her with all the trouble she has caused? In any event, it’s very sad.

I bet her family wished they had not told the press she had a history of lying
If they haven’t found the grave yet, how do they know it’s “shallow”.
Has the media already been out there to measure the depth or are they just adding more adjectives for the reader’s benefit?
