January 11, 2008)--Authorities in North Carolina said late Friday morning pregnant Marine Lance Cpl. Maria Lauterbach is dead.
They said she’s buried in a shallow grave, for which investigators are now searching.
They identified the suspect in the case as a Marine officer whom she accused of sexually assaulting her.
Police earlier were planning to interview a man who lived with her and said he would answer questions that "will shed a lot of light on the case."
Authorities said again Friday Marine Sgt. Daniel Durham isn't a suspect, but police believe he's the last person to speak with the Marine.
She disappeared Dec. 14 ahead of her expected testimony in a military investigation into her claim a senior officer had sexually assaulted her.
Court documents show the investigation went sour amid inconsistencies in the woman's story and allegations that she's bipolar and a compulsive liar.
Search warrants show she was facing a possible discharge from the service.
Lauterbach was eight months pregnant when she disappeared.
I had to take my son for a speech evaluation and it is near Court Street. I did a drive-by :) No Greta. If she was there I may have given her a list of questions that we want answered :)

I found those today and posted earlier. Seems the guy at the bank has either lost alot of muscle mass OR it is someone else. The LONG finger that I saw with the rag....look at the pic of CL with the peace sign, he does have an extra long middle finger. Could be the one at atm looking down at the hand is not him but his accomplish and he is the one with the rag and long finger.
On Fox tonight Trace Gallagher was in Jville and showed the atm machine Maria used, a Bank of America one next to a pawn shop, missed the sign on the pawn shop but definately a BofA ATM. He also reported that the police now are saying he had to have help.....no joke.

Cesar got on a bus in Houston through Tornado Bus Company into San Luis De La Paz

I’m a little behind, tonight, but in case it hasn’t been spotlighted, it appears from Post #1732 “There appeared to be the bodies of an adult female with a fetus located near the abdomen region of the female.” that authorities are parsing words.
“Also on January 11, Laurean boarded a bus departing Raleigh for Houston, which would make the tip of a possible sighting around that time in Shreveport, Louisiana, erroneous, the source said.
Laurean arrived in Houston before 5 p.m. January 12, a Saturday, the source said, adding that authorities have evidence that he made it to a bus station there.”
I was half way joking with my sons in Baton Rouge to stake out the bus station to look for him...they might luck out and get a reward....well...BR was on that stop and this is the only one that would put him in Houston by 5pm on the 12th.

He took buses all the way to Mexico? So he didn’t take Greyhound. The Tornado bus refers to bus and wire transfer services. So he received a wire transfer through the bus company that took him out of the US. Is this the same wire transfer through Western Union mentioned a few days ago? How did they find this info, Lyn?
I can clearly see ‘pooled’ stains all over the floor.
