Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Sing hey! for the bath at close of day
That washes the weary mud away!
A loon is he that will not sing:
O! Water Hot is anoble thing!
O! Sweet is the sound of falling rain.
and the brook that leaps from hill to plain;
but better than rain or rippling streams
is Water Hot that smokes and steams.
O! Water cold we may pour at need
down a thirsty throat and be glad indeed;
but better is Beer, if drink we lack,
and Water Hot poured down the back.
O! Water is fair that leaps on high
in a fountain white beneath the sky;
but never did fountain sound so sweet
as splashing Hot Water with my feet!
It's a whole lot quicker just reading the instructions for a motherboard made in Taiwan.
Heh...this is true. But I still think lyrics are funnier.
Bob Dylan is *made* to be babelfished. It starts out weird and goes from there.
The first verse of “Like a Rolling Stone”:
Once did you dress, threw you thus finely the beatniks a groschen in your highest perfection, not you? People’d call we say “fit doll, you are jumped, in order to fall” you thought up the fact that they were everything kiddin ‘ you, which did not tend you to laugh over everyone which hangin ‘ from now you does not speak was, thus loud seemed now you over having for your following meal scrounging so proudly.
OK, so it’s nonsense...but it’s kinda funny nonsense.
Mmm...making bean pizza, which sounds weird, but it’s awful good. Like regular pizza but with pinto beans and hot peppers and cheddar cheese. Big time childhood comfort food fer me.
Makes me want root beer, though. We used to have pizza some Saturdays or Sundays, and that was usually about the only time we had pop.
*snort* I'm thinking they probably don't care. I know I have it somewhere, but can you please send me the blog addy, again?
Ha! That's one of my very favorite songs, but I think the babelfish version is cool, too!
Good morning Hobbit Hole!
Wake up sleepy hobbits!
c’mon Mom...just five more minutes...
Hey, I’m getting a good start on things here.
Well, she’s not Rose any more. She’s just doe again. She wasn’t used to anyone picking her up and would scratch Joshua terribly. So we’re going to allow him to keep one doe baby when it’s born and let it get used to him right off the bat.
Then THAT doe will be Rose and will by virue of being a “pet”, be allowed to retire.
Oh, and the doe that used to be Rose is now the toe-less doe. It literally chewed it’s hurt toe completely off and seems none the worse for it.
Probably knew just what it was doing.
LOL!! That’s hilarious!
Sounds like a wise idea, having the animal used to being handled from the get go.
Well...I’m glad she’s doing better, but...ouch!
These are for meat, right? How does it all work? How old do they get before...um...processing?

Wow, 5 hours from one post to the next. I guess it must be one of ‘those’ Mondays.
Yeah, tho mine *flew* by. That’s the best kind of Monday. I’m still bummed that I can’t really post at work. Technically, I could, but I hardly even have time to read the headlines. alas.
*pout* I miss y’all.
Time seems to be flying by lately...
Read your blog. Interesting thoughts. I’ll keep checking it; I’d like to read some more. I haven’t been to New Orleans in years, but Joseph and I may fly into the city when we go down to MS in June. If we do, I might go over and spend the night with my niece, on my way back, so I can see some of the area for myself.
