For some time now we've been reading many "Best of...." stories.

Now it's time for The Best Free Republic threads of 2007.

Number 1 on the list is Will FR embrace socialism to make way for Rudy Giuliani as a Republican presidential candidate? Posted by Jim Robinson. With more than 18,400 replies and numerous flame-outs of many FReepers, it may not be pretty, but it stands alone as the top FReeper thread of 2007.

Number 2. The Kristinn Threads. (Update: Link to Video Added) Freeper on O'Reilly Factor Tonight 8 and 11 p.m. EDT 7/31/07 and O'Reilly Factor Provides Free Republic Offending Comments Links

Number 3. The icwhatudo reports. Great reporting. Did I Really Start A Firestorm in Washington? and The "Not So Poor" 12 Year Old Who Rebutted Bush on SCHIP Veto

Number 4.

Number 5.

Number 6.

What would YOU nominate as the best FR thread of 2007?

Any thread I created regardless of how boring and pointless they may be.

I am not a fan of that thread that drove a lot of good people away from this site, so I will name the jveritas threads as my favorite. A good man doing good work.

I was at Walter Reed tonight, in the cold rain. How those guys do it year round, I’ll never know.

Who is this Jim Robinson fellow? He sure posts a lot of high volume threads.

What? Does he own the place or something?

He thinks he does!

Thanks, HAL. I only hope it is going to do some good.

I spoke with the chief of staff for Obama in Illinois today at David Axelrod’s office. She claimed to know nothing about the case. That is just amazing.

I only went there (Walter Reed) one night. There are guys who are there every friday, month after month, in all seasons and all weather.

They are the “freepers of the year.”

I would nominate Pissant as Freeper of the Year for putting together the Duncan Hunter Virtual Press Conference on Free Republic, and getting Hunter signed up as a Freeper.
