Excellent Photo’s!! The lower one with the ships in the foreground evokes thoughts of the eye witness descriptions of the 1883 eruption.

Krakatau blows and we can kiss the global warming canard goodbye for a decade or so.
I saw the East Coast premier of Fair Wind to Java in Miami on New Years eve 1953. Victor McLaglen was about 67 years old at the time, but he lifted Vera Ralston out the the Caddo convert with one hand!
