First off,
yeah, Dexter on CBS would be like a milkshake without the ice cream or the milk.

Your scenario is pretty on target, though I saw some pictures for next week, and Lila does some things to make her even more “Happy to see you dead!”

Sooooo,
it appears that Dexter ends up being a hero again and the ducks line up on their own....so to speak.

Oh, and next favorite line-—
“How do I find out where Lila is from? Cut off her head and look for the label.”

you're willing to let this criminal off the hook because holding him responsible happens to also make some liberals happy.

I just don't understand why some people (that would be you) feel it necessary to falsify someone else's position just to argue with it. Please explain how sentencing him to between 12 and 18 months instead of 23 is "letting him off the hook."

MarkDel is accurate in his posts. We are all brainwashed in elevating the status of dogs to humanlike. It is especially epidemic in areas like Portland, Oregon.

Maybe you should try bringing justice up to the highest common denominator.

I said nothing about turning justice off.

I’d like to see the feds worry not only about the civil rights of three 3 innocent young men, but anyone unfortunate to live in what has to be this nation’s most corrupt city.

What happened to the lax players in only the tip of the iceburg.

You said,

“go through user “MarkDel” posts. he makes basically the same point. and many take him to task.”

I’m not sure I understand the logic and relevance of that statement. Because I’ve expressed this view BEFORE and still believe the same thing, that somehow makes my opinion less legitimate? Wow...

Instead, please try and explain to me the logical coherence of treating certain Animals as quasi-Humans and other Animals as food sources and Chattel. You can BELIEVE your position and you can FEEL your position, but you cannot logically prove the inherent intellectual consistency of your position. My position is intellectually consistent, it is merely politically incorrect.

Hence my contention that “Animals Rights Conservatives” are “thinking like” Liberals even if they do not realize it. You can disagree all you want, but my position is essentially like saying 2+2=4 and your position is basically like saying 2+2+4 sometimes, but in certain occasions it equals 5.

I didn’t think I’d see a post like that but I’m glad to see that I’m not the only one who thinks that 2-years is too much. There are criminals getting suspended-sentences for crimes against fellow humans.

For killing dogs? Yes. But the conspiracy is a different matter...

Good Point!

So what if he were a white man 50-years ago??

Vick committed this crime 50 years ago, he would have been likely lynched by the KKK

Actually if he had committed these actions 50 years ago, the KKK members would probably have totally ignored him. This wasn't viewed as such a big deal 50 years ago.

So, now you’ve gone out riding a tangent built for two all by yourself (there’s a private joke in that which you’ve not earned the right to know about). All I can say to your post is, “What the hell are you talking about?” Address the entire argument? I did. Vick got off light. IMHO he should have been given the max allowed under Federal Law (Five Years), and even that’s not long enough IMHO. Perhaps you don’t care about the cruel treatment those dogs received, but most of the rest of this society does. You are in the minority on this issue pal, and fighting an uphill losing battle. Vick and his friends are scum, and he deserves a hell of a lot more than he got.

. . . especially when the perp has cooperated so much.

Oh, you mean the cooperation he gave after he had all his scum friends turn on him? When he no longer had any choice because to fight the charges would have meant far more reaching consequences? Yeah, I'm impressed. He didn't acknowledge his guilt until after he knew his goose was cooked.

It’s funny how everybody, on both sides of the discussion, forgets about the illegal gambling ring part of this. It’s not just about killing and mutilating dogs.

ell his co-conspirators that have been sentences so far got 18 and 21, given that Vick was the bankroll, and the last guy to plead out, he had to get more time than them. And it’s not like he did a good job upholding his end of the bargain anyway, he’s lucky the judge didn’t throw his whole deal out when he failed the lie detector during his cooperating witness interview.

True, but if it went to trial - he could have possibly pulled an OJ.

So in your mind the being in the majority makes you right?

God, another inane stupid comment. That’s all I seem to be getting these days. Nice try and using this red herring tactic.

That’s unlikely, the trial wouldn’t be in SoCal with their pathetic prosecutors. And really Vick has already plead guilty, the judge didn’t need to go to trial to throw out Vick’s deal, he just could have hit him with the max.
