If you'd been wondering to yourself, 'is there anywhere I can go in the world to wonder around inside a giant elk, and maybe grab a bite to eat?' then you may be in luck.
Local officials in Sweden have just granted permission for the construction of a giant architectural moose, which will act as a concert hall and restaurant, entered via the moose's mouth.
The elk building will stand nearly 150ft high.
English language Swedish news site The Local reports that the elk, which is to be built on the Vithatten mountain in northern Sweden, has finally been given the go-ahead by Norrbotten county.
It had already been approved by Västerbotten county, in which half the elk will rest. The other set of feet will stand in Norrbotten, and so both counties had to grant permission before the giant elk could rise.
'This is such unbelievably good news,' The Local reports moose mastermind Thorbjörn Holmlund as saying.
'My whole body is shaking with joy,' he added.
Construction on the elk, which will hold up to 350 people when completed, is expected to begin before the end of the year.
More details on the moose can be found at the project's website.
Please note: This article has used the terms elk and moose interchangeably. We are aware that this confuses and even angers some people, but we are fairly relaxed about that.
