Oh, how did those Gators do this year? 3 losses won’t get it done.

We'll be back with a vengeance next year, count on that. Our defense will have a year of experience under their belt, we'll have another Top 5 Recruiting Class, and we get the Moody kid who transferred from USC, so we'll finally have a real running back, instead of relying on Tebow and Harvin for our rushing yards.

“The game last night was a great game, but I thought Kansas was the better team. They just shot themselves in the foot too many times early. Another 5 minutes and Kansas wins because Missouri was worn out.”

Kansas did not tackle. The Kansas defense didn’t wrap, and rarely stopped the runner with the first man.
I’ve only seen Missouri’s quarterback once, but he looks very, very good.

The Buckeyes will probably get thrashed this year just like did in last year’s NC game. No team from the pathetic Big 10 conference deserves to play in the NC game.

Musta let that National Championship go to our head!

Bitter taste huh?!?!?!? I remember that flavor from when we got blown out by Nebraska in what, 1995?

The Buckeyes would be a 5 loss team in a real conference (SEC).

Have you noticed how many boys we have returning next year and the year after?

“That’s ridiculous.”

One game does not a top team make.

Arkansas: 8 and 4.

Victories include Troy, North Texas, Chattanooga, Ole Miss, and Florida International.

whoopee.

USC — Get ready for a butt kicking in the Rose Bowl.

Would that be the same USC that was humiliated at home by Stanford. Unranked Stanford. 3-8 Stanford. Yea bring on the USC Condoms we'll be happy to beat them in the Rose Bowl and again the next two years in the home and away.

As for Tebow, I like him. But the number one stat for quarterbacks is wins, and he inherited the defending national champions. Three losses should eliminate him from Heisman consideration. I can understand the infatuation with McFadden, who probably should have won last year, but he's become a gimmick player on a team that was out of it early.

Anyone who watched the game last night saw the most in-control college QB in the game today. Daniel should be getting more love.

“We’ll be back with a vengeance next year, count on that.”

The Buckeyes lose I think 3 seniors starters. The Buckeyes will be loaded and ready for anyone next year. The top QB in the nation out of Pennsylvania has verbally committed to OSU.

Urban Meyer is a great coach, but I’ll still go with Jim Tressel. Go Bucks.

There isn’t a team in the nation that can beat the Buckeyes by more than 7. I have $100 that says that.

Any big 10 team is at best a second-tier team (AKA Vandy) in the SEC.

Oh I thought, after last year OSU and UF would rebuild this season, then be right back in the BCS Championship Game, the year after, we’ll see.

“The Buckeyes will be practicing that day for the BCS Championship in New Orleans.”

Of course, they’ll be playing in the Loser Bowl, but yeah, the Buckwheats will probably be practicing for the wrong game.

What color is the sky in your world, Dude? Missouri dominated that game and it only got "close" because the Tigers relaxed too soon and coasted in. It was a big-time whupping of Jayhawk butt and every Kansas player I've seen interviewed, and their coach, admit it. You should, too.

"There isn’t a team in the nation that can beat the Buckeyes by more than 7." There are at least a few SEC teams that will beat OSU by that margin and more. Sorry - the Big 10 is a vastly overrated conference and last year's results demonstrated this amply.

“The Buckeyes would be a 5 loss team in a real conference (SEC).”

You are correct, the SEC is the best conference, right now. Those things come and go. It’s not like the SEC is somehow inheriently superior, just a good run. That being said, the Bucks could play in the SEC. I was hoping the Bucks would get LSU. Now it’s all just hot air, I think the Buckeyes would have the same record in the SEC, 11-1, you don’t... no way to prove either of us correct.
The Buckeyes are as good as anyone. The Big Ten is down, but the Buckeyes aren’t. And they’ll be rated in the top 3 preseason next year, they return as many players as anyone.

Do you have a link to an article. I haven't seen anything in the Columbus Disgust that implies that he has made up his mind and verbally committed. Believe me I would love for that young man to bring his football skills to OSU.

It’s not so much that teams from the SEC are necessarily better, it’s just that every week, there is so much emotion, that you cannot afford to take a week off, even against Vandy. It’s like that cliche about how about during a rivalry game, you can throw out the records, in the SEC, every game is like a rivalry game.

no way, i would be embarrassed to be back doored into a championship game. the buck nuts where never the best team in the country this year or last. their hapless game in the championship last year is enough reason to exclude them for a ten year period....
