At the beginning of what you want to quote, put a < i > without spaces before and after the i. At the end of the quote put a < /i > without spaces before and after the i. Everything in between will be italicized.

Put the HTML code “< i >” (without the spaces) prior to the quotation and the code “< /i >” (without the spaces) after it. If you don’t some old-timer will scream “Italians Out!” and everybody will think FR is down on that ethnicity.

Italicize? Use cite between parantheses and put a backslash before the second use of the word cite between a word. That's how you italicize a word. Hope this helps.

That all depends. If you want the italics to lean left, you have to tilt your keyboard to the left. If you want them to lean right, tilt the keyboard to the right.
