"It's a dandy. I've deer hunted all my life and I've never seen nothing like it. I'd like to have one like it."

Pretty series rack there!

I’ve noticed that Nugent often takes a cull animal not a trophy animal.
I believe it’s because he gets to take it free of charge from the ranch in exchange for promoting the ranch on his show.
If you take a trophy animal there’s a large fee. I’d agree to pass on trophy specimens if I could go hunt some of those exotic species on a county sized ranch in Texas gratis.

Fantastic! What a trophy for a white tail! Good for him! I was cruising the net a few days ago and found these two photos. Hope you don't mind me planting them here ... great examples also, of white tails. This one doesn't have a date associated with it...
A 34-pointer...the hunter claims to be the king of muzzle loader shooters: "Here is a picture for your photo gallery of a deer I killed with a muzzleloader on Nov. 14, 2005. It scored 208 gross, 201 net, an official Boone & Crockett. It scored as 34 point. The width is: inside spread 19 1/8, outside spread 27 5/8. It was killed in St. Louis County, Missouri."

There are 4 Black tail does in my neighbors yard that together would not equal Pete’s buck in weight. We have Mule deer about 70 miles east of Eureka that are worth hunting.
I’m going to send you some photos later of my new crab boat...
