I’ve noticed that Nugent often takes a cull animal not a trophy animal.
I believe it’s because he gets to take it free of charge from the ranch in exchange for promoting the ranch on his show.
If you take a trophy animal there’s a large fee. I’d agree to pass on trophy specimens if I could go hunt some of those exotic species on a county sized ranch in Texas gratis.

Fantastic! What a trophy for a white tail! Good for him! I was cruising the net a few days ago and found these two photos. Hope you don't mind me planting them here ... great examples also, of white tails. This one doesn't have a date associated with it...

A 34-pointer...the hunter claims to be the king of muzzle loader shooters: "Here is a picture for your photo gallery of a deer I killed with a muzzleloader on Nov. 14, 2005. It scored 208 gross, 201 net, an official Boone & Crockett. It scored as 34 point. The width is: inside spread 19 1/8, outside spread 27 5/8. It was killed in St. Louis County, Missouri."
