I know a guy who was issued a room key, and when he opened the door found another guest sitting in a chair in the room. And let’s just say that man was not “master of his domain”.

And there’s no way of knowing that the room wasn’t occupied by a (male or female) hooker prior to you, with the comforter full of body fluids sweat etc.

Word to the wise - don’t bring a blacklight to a hotel room :) You’ll never want to sit in the chair, couch, at the desk, or sleep in the bed.

Good Point! Many of the housekeeping employees are illegals who more than likely are not screened for TB and other diseases that have been eradicated in our country.

Ya, but does the woman with the yellow gloves wrap the plastic cups sealed in plastic! Yes, as a former frequent traveler, I am paranoid when I have to stay in a hotel. When I was traveling, I tried not to think about it!

I prefer the practices of the cheaper motels which give you new plastic cups sealed in plastic, to the expensive hotels, which leave used, possibly unsanitary glasses in your room.

Well, I use those glasses for high proof Bourbon which has the necessariy sanitizing effect.
