Two illegal immigrants were arrested Sunday after one allegedly drove drunk and was involved in an accident that killed a Lake Elsinore man; the other helped him flee.
According to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, the initial investigation indicates that Isaac Flores-Palacios, 32, was driving his employer’s pickup truck west on Lakeshore Drive on Sunday afternoon when a pickup driven by Ben Hernandez, 66, turned left in front of him near Avenue 6. Hernandez was ejected and died at the scene.
Florez-Palacios allegedly left his vehicle and was picked up by his brother-in-law, Javier Delfino-Hernandez, 29, who had been following him. Witnesses described the driver involved in the accident as well as the car that picked him up, which was spotted by a helicopter crew. Ground officers stopped the car and obtained information that identified Flores-Palacios, who had subsequently tried to report his truck as stolen, as the driver involved in the accident; he was detained at a Lake Elsinore address and identified by witnesses.
Flores-Palacios, who lives in Lake Elsinore, was arrested for hit-and-run causing death and driving while intoxicated. Delfino-Hernandez, who lives in Homeland, was arrested for being an accessory; he is also on probation for a previous D.U.I. and had a warrant for his arrest in regard to a deportation order.

It matters not what color Orace McKee is as an American citizen. Do the crime,serve the time, which for DUI does NOT include deportation if you are a citizen.

Unfortunately we have neither the time, nor the resources to discern between the hard working dishwasher and the repeat criminals. The only solution is to DEPORT EVERY PERSON WHO COMES INTO THIS COUNTRY ILLEGALLY, then screen them as they try to re-enter LEGALLY.....

A crime is still a crime, its true, but in the former case, the crime was preventable by stopping the two clowns at the border.

Illegal immigrants get blamed for everything: rape, murder, robbery, you name it.
They are actually quite law-biding, as much as the rest of us, a Sun-Times report reveals.
They account for about 3 percent of the state’s population and an equal percentage of inmates in Cook County jails. Less than 4 percent of adults in Illinois prisons have been identified as illegal immigrants.
The perception holds that more illegal immigrants equals more crime. That view is bolstered by lies told by anti-illegal immigrant groups like the Minutemen. They claim 64,000 U.S. citizens have been killed by illegal immigrants since Sept. 11, 2001. That would mean more than half the murders in the United States have been committed by illegal immigrants.
That’s ludicrous.
Besides, the numbers don’t add up. The FBI doesn’t even track the data of offenders or victims based on their citizenship status. The data does show that nearly half of those arrested for murder or non-negligent manslaughter in 2006 were white. Only 1 percent of “criminal aliens” were in jail for murder in 2005, according to the Government Accountability Office.
Sadly, people tend to believe this anti-immigrant hype. They always have. One recent survey found most Americans believe immigrants boost crime. These same claims have been hurled at the Irish, Italians and Chinese at some point in America’s history. Today we scapegoat Mexicans.
We don’t blame all middle-age white guys for the crimes of John Wayne Gacy. We don’t blame all black men for John Allen Muhammad’s Beltway sniper-fest. We shouldn’t blame all illegal immigrants, either.

There is an epidemic in this country of illegals getting drunk and plowing down people in their cars. The reason you here more about it, is because there are more and more of them everyday.
