"I did a right click and copied the properties then put the URL in my address line and it worked — thereafter it worked on DD too."

Same here. Very weird!

Beauty of a destroyer you had there, revealing that you are British. No wonder you live in Spain now. Spain is to UK as Cape Cod is to Massachusetts.

How does Grand Harbor, Malta, look today compared to when that photo of the HMS Birmingham was taken?

Is Llandulas where you were born? I haven’t been to Llandulas, but enjoyed enough of Wales to like it a lot.

In Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch I asked a clerk, “How do you pronounce it,” and she said, “Llanfair.”

Yes I am British, born in Yorkshire, and although I now live in Spain, it is not because of an Englishman's lust for the sun, but because my late wife was Spanish and was born in La Coruña.

The Grand Harbor in Malta is a National Heritage Site and has hardly changed at all. Except for the fact they built our apartments next to Fort St. Angelo, the home of the Knights of Malta. This affront to historical preservation caused the downfall of the previous government.

But over in the next bay, Sliema, which then was a quiet backwater, is now filling up with high-rises as you can see below. I have previously shown pictures from the Hilton at ground level, here is an aerial view:

Everyone has fun with that name... Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch, we used to call it Llanfair P G.

I was not born in Llanddulas, which is village between Colwyn Bay and Rhyl, but it was boyhood paradise of sea and mountains. Especially climbing Maiden´s Leap and standing near the precipice which I would not have the courage to do today.

What brought you to Wales?

WOW! While I’m not one to find a city view appealing, I am sometimes awed by them.

Now Darlin’, don’t be too hard on Sharky. While his team lost, he can still shout with pride, “We used to be # 23!.”

To whom it may concern
(Just testing a pre-format for your browsers)
The Passionate Shepherd to His Love

COME live with me and be my Love,
And we will all the pleasures prove
That hills and valleys, dale and field,
And all the craggy mountains yield.

There will we sit upon the rocks
And see the shepherds feed their flocks,
By shallow rivers, to whose falls
                Melodious birds sing madrigals.

There will I make thee beds of roses
                And a thousand fragrant posies,
A cap of flowers, and a kirtle
Embroider'd all with leaves of myrtle.

A gown made of the finest wool
Which from our pretty lambs we pull,
Fair linèd slippers for the cold,
With buckles of the purest gold.

A belt of straw and ivy buds
With coral clasps and amber studs:
And if these pleasures may thee move,
Come live with me and be my Love.

Thy silver dishes for thy meat
As precious as the gods do eat,
Shall on an ivory table be
Prepared each day for thee and me.

The shepherd swains shall dance and sing
                For thy delight each May-morning:
If these delights thy mind may move,
Then live with me and be my Love.
