I just noticed we've been using the ALCS thread for WS stuff.

They are starting the game six minutes earlier on Thursday because they know that Schilling has a slower delivery.

I’m a die hard Cub fan (flame suit ready) but I’ve been rooting for the BoSox through the playoffs. They used to be just like us (no WS for close to 100 years)if it can happen to them, maybe it can happen to us.
Plus I’m just a passionate baseball fan and man do I love watching Beckett pitch. Curt Schilling being a pubbie is pretty cool too.
So, go Sox and it sux that in a week and a half, I’ve gotta wait for months to see baseball again.

The Colorado Rockies have voted to give a share to the widow of Mike Coolbaugh.
The Tulsa Driller (Rockies farm team) coach was killed this season by a line drive to his head.
Rockies are a class act and I hope they win.
There are 13 former Tulsa Drillers on the Colorado Rockies.

Did AccuScore predict the Rockies winning 21 of their last 22 games?
That’s what I thought...

Gag-me is STILL on the roster? If Francona needed an 11th pitcher, why not Tavarez?
At any rate, LET’S GET IT ON!!!

Strange arithmetic on Game 3....
To: GraniteStateConservative
Why would the Red Sox pick Kyle Snyder over Julian Tavarez for the final pitchers spot? Tavarez can definitely pitch more innings with a better result than what Snyder can do IMHO. I pick Colorado to sweep Boston, but I do hope that I’m wrong on this and that the series ends up going the full seven games no matter who ends up winning it. The TV ratings should be decent with the Boston Red Sox still in it.

Everyone has heard how slow the computers were in selling World Series tickets for the Rockies.
The only thing slower is the computer selling World Series tickets for the Cubbies...
