I would like to see this movie. But will it be played in my area? How can I generate interest to get the movie distributed in my area?
There has been a problem in the past that good, wholesome family movies have not been played around the country -- only really bad Hollywood junk.
I think Bella is worth trying to push.
One possible way is to get conservative commentators to talk about this movie -- Michelle Malkin, Rush Limbaugh, Ann Coulter, etc.

There has been a problem in the past that good, wholesome family movies have not been played around the country -- only really bad Hollywood junk. Disney's "The Game Plan" is No. 1 again last weekend, blowing everyone else out of the water. Clean movies sell, when will H'wood learn.

Bella is an awesome movie. I have been helping some of the promoters and have had the privilege of seeing it about a dozen times and each time I am emotional.
If anyone is interested in making sure this movie plays in your area, please let me know via freepmail and I can share some strategies with you.

For those in the NY area:
Get in touch with Sr. Lisa Marie at the Archdiocese of NY Family Life/RTL Office, there’s two screenings coming up.
I think it’s 212.371.1011 x3186; One upstate, one in Manhattan.

My family’s driving 100 miles to see Bella this Saturday. I iinsisted on it for my birthday treat (!) for the sake of my teenage boys, who need to see what life’s all about.

Bella is opening this week in Boston, MA, which was just announced today. Also, it will be in New Orleans, LA, in one week from Friday (November 16, 2007).
Maybe there can be action to get the website of the Archdiocese of Boston to post information about the movie Bella. The Archdioceses of Chicago, Philadelphia, Denver and San Antonio have already done this.
Looks like the movie is opening to a larger area gradually, and hopefully will be in a theater near me by Christmas...
