Brain Found in Bag in Richmond, VA
breitbart.com ^ | 10/09/07 | Unknown

Posted on 10/09/2007 10:41:41 AM PDT by Froufrou

It was discovered in an area next to a suburban Richmond apartment complex under construction and near a mall, Richmond police spokeswoman Karla Peters said.

The state medical examiner was examining the brain, she said. It wasn't clear how long it had been there.

"We're waiting for the medical examiner to determine how we should proceed," Peters said.

LOL - find Chris! My eyes!

McLynnan, why’d you leave TX? Yes, usually it is cooked in a pit, like a luau...

If you try barbacoa, ask for ‘all meat’ or you could get an eyeball...[this free advice for steve-b, too] ;o)

“Look for some Democratic Senator....they are all brainless.”

That was my first reaction, until I realized that, to lose a brain, one would have to have one in the first place, so all Dems can be safely ruled out.

We always knew that if Darks had a brain he’d take it out and play with it...

We can neither confirm nor deny the existence of a Frankenstein type monster.
No fava beans were harmed in the making of this post.

It’s from “The Brain That Wouldn’t Die.” The Jan-In-A-Pan reference comes from Mystery Science Theater; when they showed this movie the Mystery Science characters kept calling her “Jan-In-A-Pan”

I told one kid who was dating my step-daughter, “He had the most wonderful eyes I’d ever seen... too bad for him they were in a jar next to my bed.”
He got the hint.

Pass the Chianti...

I love mystery science theater. But Sandra Bernhard’s ‘Reel Cinema’ was pretty good, too.

‘Earth Girls Are Easy’...

I didn’t leave Texas! Happened once and I didn’t rest until I found a way back and I won’t make that mistake again. Just never had authentic cow head tamales, haha. Thanks for the head’s up about barbacoa and eyeballs. Ugh!

A type of Barbacoa...

Barbacoa de cabeza is a specialty of slow cooked cow head

Wiki Entry

I have eaten barbacoa made from cabrito (goat), but don't know if I could go that far...ugh...the thought alone would turn my stomach.

Tamales can be pork, beef or chicken.

Cabrito, tried it in Mexico and couldn’t swallow it. Same thing once with rabbit.

But I was served cabrito and regular brisket at a BBQ and thought it was chicken, and better tasting!

McLynnan, I understand. I moved to Washington for 3 years and couldn’t wait to return!
