Tyler, TX Human rights activists are criticizing Tyler, Texas officials for changing the names of city streets from area trees to executioners who have participated in the killing of condemned men throughout the years, Underneath Politics has learned.
"Texans are a proud people, and were tired of being criticized by liberals and Europeans that don't believe in justice," said Tyler City Councilman Randy Simmons. "Instead we want to honor those who chose to make executing persons guilty of murder their profession."

Let’s just say, this doesn’t surprise me about Tyler, TX. Too funny.
I’d rather live on Elm Street, thank you.
Ya’ll just go down two blocks and hang a right. Go down for a stretch and you’ll see a dead end road. Bam, you’re there.
Is this satire, or just a case of Texans being Texans?
I would have expected this from Huntsville, where the 100% rehabilitation is administered.
You’ll like this one.

LOL. You should give Leno that line - it’s better than what most of his writers come up with.
On a side note, every time I see or hear that word “bam” I can’t help, but think of Emeril Lagasse.
Oh, hell no. In fact, I may have to consider moving from my current Texas address to Tyler and buy a house on Big Shooter Street.
As Robert Pratt would say, "Long live liberty and long live Texas!"
Exactly. What is the count now--18 or 19 this year?
"In Texas, if you kill someone, we will kill you back!"--Ron White
Hats off to Tyler for getting under the skins of the human rights whackos. This is delish....
I hope Judge William Wayne Justice hears about it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
“Texans are a proud people, and were tired of being criticized by liberals and Europeans that don’t believe in justice,” said Tyler City Councilman Randy Simmons.
Why isn’t there a councilman by the name of Randy Simmons listed on the City of Tyler’s web site for the city council and government?.....
