I don’t think Goodell wants to be bigger than the game, I think he wants to banish situations from the game. And with all the whining about the supposed lack of punishment on this I think he needed to come out and say how he decided on the punishment. Now I think it’s done, BB won’t be discussing it anymore, the Pats players won’t say anything, the comish has said his piece. Of course the Jets want to keep it alive with their new silly accusations, but I’m thinking their management will find some e-mails from the comish tomorrow telling them to STFU.

I hope he tells the Jets that he’s dealt with it and I hope that if the Pats have anything on the Jets that they would use it.

It’s obvious the Pats are a damned talented team. The video was cheap and they got spanked for it but they kicked the Chargers asses tonight. Video taping doesn’t help you tackle, doesn’t help you beat the ends for sacks and it certainly doesn’t do anything to Randy Moss and Welker who just blew up the Chargers’s defense.

I agree with you...the purpose of the NFL is to make money. The more they start dragging down top performing clubs and airing their dirty linen, the more they become the NBA, and the more fan $upport thet can look forward to losing...
