Tom Brady is pretty scary with a Hall-of-Famer wide receiver.
Back to a four-score lead and that 8-minute opening drive by San Diego is erased - just-like-that.

I think the Patriots policy is whenever Moss isn’t double covered Brady is going to him.

To: Boston Blackie
Moss running past the Charger DB’s isn’t cheating?

To: SamAdams76; mainepatsfan
This is too easy! Randy Moss can have a massive year. Exactly what Tom Brady needed.

LT can’t get anything going. Sheesh, the secondary looks terrible tonight.

Well I have a feeling the game is over so I’ll change the channel.. So much for being a good game..

I think they’re playing just not to give up the big play.

I could do with one more garbage TD from Gates like that, gotta pad the fantasy lead.
No defensive stops this quarter, kind of odd.

Could the worm be turning? And what is the turning radius on that beast anyway?

(Of course, the bad side to a 2-0 start is it makes it less likely Matt Millen gets ridden out of town on his well-deserved rail....)I'll still take it.

Pats can’t afford to get sloppy at the end here. At least the defense stepped up here with two huge sacks and the Pats are getting the ball back.

The defense picked the perfect time this half to step up. Hobbs lucks out.

To: Boston Blackie
That one was painful!!! Jeter nails a 3 run homer off an 85mph breaking pitch over the middle of the plate. Schill was doing great through 7 innings.
Somehow I don’t feel too bad about it though,.....

Pats methodically slogging their way down the field and eating up the clock. A score here will seal it though even now it would take a miracle comeback for San Diego.
NBC mentioning that the New York Jets are going to be filing another grievance against New England for some kind of unauthorized radio transmissions used last week. Will it ever end?
Well the Jets got beat again today so maybe they need to focus more on their own team.

I think they played too passive in the 3rd quarter. It was time to unleash the hounds.

To: SamAdams76
The Jets really sound childish at this point. I agree. Mangini needs to be a bit more focused on his team.
Man this is an impressive game clinching drive.

To: SamAdams76
Mangina needs to worry about his own team. He’s got a QB controversy brewing, he’s 0-2 and picking fights with Pats is kind of stupid. Can’t beat them on the field so he needs to run to the hall monitor.
Wonder how long it took for the Pats playbook to be circulated with the Jets after he announced he was taking the job?
