Kathy Griffin's Bravo series "My Life on the D-List" won the Emmy for "Best Reality Program (non-competition).

Her speech was memorable, in which she refused to thank Jesus.

"A lot of people come up here and thank Jesus for this. He had nothing to do with this," Griffin said. "Suck it, Jesus. This award is my God now."

The comic has won that Emmy she’s long coveted.

Ironically, she’s going to have to realize and accept Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross is for her, too. Talk about burning your bridges...

No, sweetie. You coveted an acting Emmy, because you’re an actress. Winning the best-reality-show Emmy, in that context, is sort of like winning at the Special Olympics...you’re taking home the hardware, but you’re still a retard.

Another good reason to quit watching TV.

We didn’t have one in the ouse when I was growing up. I seldom watch. There is very little worth my time.

While I’ll say there was some rock in the 60’s and early 70’s that was of high quality, in general you haven’t missed a thing. The music you mentioned is and has been superior to the crap the world has been churning out for years. I listen to Classical and the standards exclusively.

Does that legitimize our burning a country down or something?

She wouldn’t dare say that about Mohammad.

Here she is surgically glamorized:

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

Too packaged. She will likely find herself addicted to dugs, booze or somethig else, and on the verge of sewerside in just a few years.

Meanwhile she will be everyone's last to call, easy ride.

Such a shame, she had a lot of potential, like most human beings do, and has stood aside from it.

She is a miserable person (I’ve watched her show a couple of times). I feel sorry for her. She has no idea what she’s missing.

Me either. And it’s a very stark reminder when I go to someones house to visit and see them sitting in front of it, eyes glazed over and unable to just turn it off and go.

I’ve never been much of a Classical fan. There is some (quite little, really) I enjoy; mostly piano pieces. But I had a mentor early on who was a jazz aficionado. That was all I needed to see where my music interest would be.

What you say about early Rock is true also about Country music. I’ve appreciated (and still do) a ‘little’ of both from their early years, but after the 50’s (for me) Rock lost it’s taste for good music. Country also.

She isn’t really that odd for this time in our history. A whole lot more people worship money and possessions and will do anything to get more. I imagine this kind of person will have a lot of free time to meditate about that after they die.

She’s just an old lady trying to please her masters. Her masters worship Baal and Molech. They hate Jesus ,and Jesus hates them. He once beat them up and turned over their carts when they set up shop in the temple. Her remark was in vain. Her masters love young flesh. She no longer has what they want.

Values post of the year.

Congratulations.

I doubt she has a clue as to the meaning of His sacrifice. Yet, the bridge is still there. It's never burned. But the Holy Spirit has to initiate the walk across. She can't do that on her own. Will He?

If she only knew what she has done to herself, telling the Lord ‘con’t you take a joke’ aint gonna work on judgement day.

You write Bravo and say you will not watch their channel and you write the head of the 59th Annual Primetime Creative Arts Emmy Awards and demand she apologize for her comments. It’s really very simple.....

She believes in Jesus, and she hates Him.

The hate is there, but there's no belief. She may accept His historical existence, but there's no belief. None whatsoever. Belief comes from God through the Holy Spirit. That has not happened.

She comes on the Bravo channel. I can't think of a single program I watch on Bravo.

Yep, Bravo is NBC's 'we're here - we're queer - get used to it' channel. They program directly to this niche.

Actually, I believe you’re both right.

I’m pretty sure that this Kathy Griffin skank was a co-host with Regis for a day or two when either Kathy Lee or Kelly Ripa was on vacation or doing some other project elsewhere.

In other words, I think she was a substitute co-host, albeit briefly.
