Kathy Griffin's Bravo series "My Life on the D-List" won the Emmy for "Best Reality Program (non-competition).
Her speech was memorable, in which she refused to thank Jesus.
"A lot of people come up here and thank Jesus for this. He had nothing to do with this," Griffin said. "Suck it, Jesus. This award is my God now."
The comic has won that Emmy she’s long coveted.
Too bad Christians have to support this blasphemy when they pay their cable/satellite bills. I will switch to whatever cable/satellite company will let me order the individual channels I want to watch. Many of these liberal/obscene outlets would go broke if that ever comes about.
I always thought she was funny despite being somewhat of a b****, now I will never watch anything with her in it again.
Lead plates and lead spoons will complete our society’s transformation.
Who knows? Nobody fights against someone who is not a threat. Maybe God is getting close to her and she’s scared. One can still hope for her saving.
Her comment was crude and ugly, but I don’t understand the idea expressed on this thread that God will take offense and damn her for eternity. Shouldn’t God be at least as as forgiving as most people?

I have a very healthy solution for that. I got rid of cable 3 years ago. I get funny looks when I tell people I don’t have a TV.

You don't mock God: Exo 20:3 "You shall have no other gods before me". Exo 20:7 "You shall not take the name of the LORD your God in vain, for the LORD will not hold him guiltless who takes his name in vain".
God IS forgiving to those who seek forgiveness. We are all damned for eternity unless we seek His forgiveness and lead our lives as He has shown us the way.
God is not only a righteous God but a just God. We will answer for our sins at our judgment. This idea of God being a 'goody-two-shoes' type of deity who is willing to forgive all out of simple goodness is a complete misunderstanding/misconception of the Bible and God's Word.
