Good Monday morning!
Greece is burning up!
President Bush will visit New Orleans at the end of the week.
Clean-up continues across the MIdwest after last week's rain and storms.
We're all going to get tired of hearing about Diana and Katrina this week.
Thanks for the start! I’m already tired of listening to rehash after rehash. . .
Really! TWC is playing reruns of reruns about Katrina! Either do a new show, or forget it!
Good morning.
Flooding didn’t happen near our home, Molly, PTL.
How was your jaunt yesterday, IG? Find any good antiques?
Good morning to all ........sunny and warm in Hoosierland.
Thanks for the start.... Molly, and for the links.
I don’t turn on my TV till evening time.....if I watched TV news, my doctor would have to double my BP medicine, I think!! It doesn’t seem to bother me as much if I read the news.
I must work in the yard this morning before it gets too hot....everyone have a nice day.
Good Morning! We were gone a total of 12 hrs. How’s that for a short Sunday Drive?
We hit the Antique Store in Maquokata and in Dyersville (home of the Field of Dreams baseball field), ventured on to Prairie du Chien, crossed the river and drove south back to Dubuque and caught the diagonal (151) back home.
The only unneeded thing we purchased was 2 Klondike bars!
I was looking for a wooden Buggy seat, but didn’t find one in good enough condition to purchase. I may have to get a reproduction. With kids around on a regular basis, it doesn’t seem to make sense to purchase a fragile one.
I need to go to Dubuque on a weekday, when the stores are open, to see what they have.
I had to wear a sweatshirt outside this morning when I went to inspect the overnight rabbit damage! Whoo Hoo!!
We had a most pleasant day yesterday, had a ‘dinner on the grounds’ here at our house for our church, kids took advantage of the pool, all brought covered dishes, dogs ate LOTS of chicken bones. Just like the times of old except without the horse drawn buggies, all cars and pickup trucks.
I am out of EVERYTHING in the food pantry here in my shack, gotta go to Sam’s and WallMart. Last time I went I got the mixed grits and I am a regular grit eater, it is unamerican to eat fancy grits, regular is the only kind.
Just heard that the Attorney General has resigned, Dems got what they wanted din;t they.
Time to go to the big house, talk to ‘youse guys’ later.
TOBY
Gonzales resigned???
Good morning, we made it back safe and sound. Lots of re-organization and unpacking to do but it’s good to be here.
I won’t be watching about either Katrina or Diana. The remote is only an arm’s reach away.
Thanks for the thread and ping Molly.
Apparently so. Whoever in the administration that was in charge of all this, did a miserable job.
Gonzalez wasn’t too stellar himself though....
I wonder who’ll be next?
Bad/no PR in this administration has been a problem from the beginning and continues. The MSM is no help, I know.
Well, there’s another story I’ll be ignoring this week. Won’t be able to stand the pompous pukey pundits!
This looks so good and when I get mad I love to eat, I am mad, OUT AG resigned, thanks to the turncoats.
TOMORROW AT 9AM PAPERS WILL BE SIGNED AND TJ ADOPTED!!!!!!!
One each old man happy as a lark today and tomorrow I will be fit to be tied.
Gonzales resigned???
Yes...rumor has it
I love it that he didn’t answer any questions from the press. (Just heard that on the radio.)
Agreeing with the blogger, I think (hope!) ther would be better candidates than this. Here's the link:
