A basic rundown, for all readers or no reader in particular:
- The Chinese words added to the theme song detracted from it.
- China seems strange, even though if they hadn't said China and didn't show Shanghai, it would probably seem normal.
- If the cast of last season was bad (as some freepers were stating then), then this crop figuratively stinks.
- Stupid CBS for making them do that Buddhist ceremony. As a Christian, would have tried to decline instead of bowing. Even secularly, there is Biblical precedent for not bowing--Mordecai didn't bow to Haman; completely secular, from the non-Judeo-Christian side. The sniggering by so many when the radio presenter 'came out' as a Christian was discouraging if the group is emblematic of the American nation (doesn't seem to be).
- There doesn't seem to be any Chinese in the group, though obviously one of them took up the label 'Chinese.'
- The blond Goth is sort of adolescent in behavior. Acting as though it is 'cool' to be cynical and jaded and 'uncool' to not be those. You can be cynical and jaded and still be polite to others.
- Chicken seemed to have a bad attitude (from what was shown). People didn't listen to him, so he decided to not give his input. That would probably happen personally if in his place--have a somewhat unimpressive appearance--but would still give opinions when asked.
- The homosexual seems to be too full of himself. The poker guy states that he's sharp, and so he considers himself to be so.
- The two de facto leaders look very similar.
- Their taking off their clothes to reveal their underwhelming physiques was also disdainful.
- And what's with all the weirdos walking around in their relatively skimpy underpants? Freaks.
- After being voted off, it seemed as if Chicken might set Jeff on fire.
- He was quite polite in the 'after-scene', but suspect that that was just superficial, and in its own way more despicable than the wanna be Goth's attitude.
- This cast is pretty figuratively lame. There isn't an Earl or Yau-man or even sleazy lawyer boy. Just a bunch of inept twits in their place.
- Go Christians.

maybe should be ‘cause for disdain’ instead of ‘disdainful’.

Also supposed to have been there:
They took off their clothes to primp and strut their stuff in the rain. That was actually a big point that was supposed to be in the post.

Any word on The Amazing Race?
It's scheduled as a "mid-season replacement". So, if one of CBS's new series fails, it's there to take it's place. If not, we'll see it start late January or early February. :-(

I was not impressed by anyone tonight. Im too picky anymore.
I definitely found myself pulling for the Fei Long tribe. I'm liking big James, Leslie (the Christian talk radio chick), & John Robert. The only one I really don't care for on this tribe, so far, is the skinny white chick.

I knew Courtney was going to be a bitch!
I could tolerate Peih-Gee’s bossiness if she wasn’t also a crybaby.
Big James was surprisingly agile going over the walls, competing very well with Frosti.
Todd, the gay flight attendant, was slightly less annoying than I thought he would be, although I still wouldn’t want to be stuck on a plane with him for five hours.
Amanda, Erik, and Jaime are almost certainly going to go far in the game, because we saw pretty much nothing of them in the first episode.
The elementary school teacher’s breasts were as large and prominently displayed as the WWE diva’s. :-)

My early favorite is James (gravedigger).
His line was the best last night:
Leslie (to James): So what do you do?
James: I bury people
LOLOLOLOL!!

Is the teacher the African American lady? I noticed her bust is large and incredibly she is parading around in not a sports bra but a regular underwear-type bra. And it looks like the poor bra’s 18 Hours were up a long, long time ago.
LOL! I can’t believe this is my second bra comment. Note to self: must stop worrying about the bras.

Funniest moment of the show: Chicken yelling “DAMN!” when he gets voted out, and everyone around him jumping.

New York chicky with the “these are exactly the type of people I don’t want to ever be around” needs to go. Now.

I keep thinking that Denise the lunch lady is named Doris because of Lunchlady Doris from The Simpsons.

This is the first Survivor season (and I have seen them all)that I can say it looks totally uninteresting. I guess I would pick James at this point to win the million. I am reminded of that well built black guy - his names started with an “O”. He was all muscle but a wimp and did poorly in the challenges. Looks like James can use what he’s got.

Good Morning Folks,
I normally don’t post on weekends, and this is not a Survivor Ping, but my dad sent me an email with a link to a website that I just HAD to share.
So turn your speakers on, click on the link below, sit back and enjoy.

I read this but dont always comment. Looking forward to this season. Think this is the first time since Survivor: Africa that the game will play out away from the ocean.
Uh, Survivor Guatemala was not near an ocean.
