All I have to say is the fact the sci-fi channel carries ‘who wants to be a super hero’ and did not pick up serenity nearly makes me sick!

For anyone who has not seen serenity because they have not seen firefly its *OK* to see the movie first you dont need the background as JW did a fantastic job telling the story. My wife and I saw serenity before firefly and were so taken by it that we immeaditally rented the firefly dvd’s..
Aside from b5 best sci fi ever, perhaps if it would have been given some time to arc or develop it would have been better...

I’m sorry! :( I should have thought of that. The series Firefly is excellent and worth every cent. I’m annoyed with the movie Serenity. I thought Joss Whedon squandered his fans trust, but others disagree. Again, sorry for the spoiler.

Don’t fret - they’ll recoup their losses from ‘Superhero’ by running 5 straight hours of ‘Ghost Hunter’.
(Of course, it’ll only be 1 hour, after the 4 hours of commercials are factored in....Bowflex, anyone?)

I have seen a couple of eps but not many. I guess I just haven't gotten into the swing of the show, and will have to do one of those weekend-long viewings of the series and the movie from beginning to end.
I was a huge Farscape fan, but felt it collapsed in the final season. It made a great comeback in the miniseries, though. I hear they're considering a web-only series related to Farscape.
