For anyone who has not seen serenity because they have not seen firefly its *OK* to see the movie first you dont need the background as JW did a fantastic job telling the story. My wife and I saw serenity before firefly and were so taken by it that we immeaditally rented the firefly dvd’s..
Aside from b5 best sci fi ever, perhaps if it would have been given some time to arc or develop it would have been better...

Here’s hoping...and also that Universal straightens out their flawed thinking and starts releasing “Serenity” and all of their other titles on Blu-ray. ;)
