Technically, no, I can’t talk about it until there’s a verdict.
There’s a tiny chance that one of us could be called back if a juror gets sick or something before there is a verdict.

Which courthouse do you have to go to? Is there one over by the new complex of allkindagovermentoffices, where they have the statues and no on-street parking? ;-)

OK, so I just wrote the first thousand words or so of another story. I have one more day to work on it before abandoning it.

We might be goin up to the cabin Friday evening. Got a report that it may have been broken into. So we're in a quandry. If we got cleaned out, going up on Friday evening would be bad because it's cold and the mattress and blankets might be gone. Going up on Saturday would be a round-trip situation and a lot of driving with little R&R associated with it.

Is there anyone nearby who might be able to do an initial reconnaissance on your behalf?
That’s how we knew. The naybers were up for hunting season; they checked the cabin and found the back door wide open. They gave us a call. There wasn’t anything big and valuable up there; with the exception of the dog kennels, everything was moderate-low priced items of camping convenience. Still tho. It is irksome.
Would they be able to check on the status of the bed and that?
Ungh...now I’m a little worried. Just got a call from my sister asking if I’d heard anything from my brother, as they hadn’t heard anything about the baby and all. She went in on Monday. I’m hoping he’s just too busy to call or something, but...
It’s a pain when people violoate your personal space/stuff. I hope things are okay.
