The Hobbit Hole XXXIV - But better than rain or rippling streams...

Posted on 08/07/2007 7:52:15 AM PDT by HairOfTheDog

Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!

Sing hey! for the bath at close of day
That washes the weary mud away!
A loon is he that will not sing:
O! Water Hot is anoble thing!

O! Sweet is the sound of falling rain.
and the brook that leaps from hill to plain;
but better than rain or rippling streams
is Water Hot that smokes and steams.

O! Water cold we may pour at need
down a thirsty throat and be glad indeed;
but better is Beer, if drink we lack,
and Water Hot poured down the back.

O! Water is fair that leaps on high
in a fountain white beneath the sky;
but never did fountain sound so sweet
as splashing Hot Water with my feet!

No idea. Most likely thud-and-blunder science fiction.

Thanks. That’s the one I found. There’s a better one that shows more of the stuffed animals.

But I gave up and used Jar Jar instead.

Yup, one of the nice things about homeschooling is that you can do projects like that. They’re going to use lulu.com and have hard copies of their works when they’re done; it’ll look great for the evaluator next year!

My parents’ 25th anniversary is next week... sisters and I are trying to think of something nice to do long distance.

Lulu.com works pretty well...I used them when I did my sister’s book a few years back. They didn’t have hard cover versions then, but they do now. The paperbacks were cheap, though...I think less than seven dollars for that book, which is pretty hugh.

Yeah I told them I’d try to have my book in a state that I could lulu a copy by Christmas too.

Lulu has *photo albums*. And calendars. This brings up ideas.

Robert Goulet will no longer be messing with your stuff.

We had the original Broadway recording of “Camelot” with Robert Goulet as Lancelot...about wore the record out. He had a wonderful voice!

Yeah...there are a few places like that on the internet, but I think lulu.com is one of the most user friendly. And affordable.

You have to wonder exactly *how* the idea for that commercial came about.

Not to mention...of *all* the people I might imagine were messing with my stuff...well...I’m not sure Robert Goulet would be at the top of the list. ;-)
