This is a horse chat thread where we share ideas, ask for input from other horsemen, and talk about our riding and horse-keeping. We have a lot of different kinds of riders and horses, and a lot to share, usually about our horses, sometimes about our dogs, gardens and other stuff we do. :~)

New folk and occasional posters, jump right in and introduce yourselves, tell us about your horses, and post pictures if you've got them!
Well, this part of it is not fun... but at least I know you well enough that I don’t have to include a lot of warnings and advice about how to say no to all the nice and sentimental and very expensive things the funeral homes will try to talk you into. Be strong, and be Becky. You know what you need! Not them!

Becky, you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. I’m so glad Larry was home with you, at the end of his life here. Now he’s in his Eternal home, and in the loving arms of the Lord.

I have not been able to post much due to my heavy work schedule but Frog has kept me posted. I want you to know how sorry I am and how grateful I am to have had the opportunity to meet Larry when I was out there. He said something that night we all sat round the fire that made me think what a lucky woman you are. He said that the way to treat a woman was to let her know she is your whole universe. I believe he meant that with all his heart and you had something very special with him, something that will be with you until you two meet again. I wish there were something I could say or do to ease the pain, just know that we all love you and are truly here for you.
Thank you I hardly read FRSCT I like the pictures and I know a lot from NES and I have converse with Mack and enjoyed his family attitude.
I am thank for these post to have the opportunity to scroll back to Dec 30 and follow so I don’t have to disturb Becky on details.
I personally am really stun and sadden to stumble across this.
We just never know when one of us who we are acquainted with and think they will live out a natural life gets a call home.
Becky I am so lost for your lost I know I been there and is such a void yet we know our love one is close by I have felt the presents of my husband he was a voice teacher and often a theme from his favorit opera will pop in my mind and I am aware he is near by.
Each of us know something about our spouce that helps to know they are watching over us now and not too worry for they are at rest free from the world trials.

Thank you CindyDawg, I am just at a lost for Becky and there are many memories on the NES thread too that a CD of some might make a good diary of those fun times!
Becky, you have my deepest condolences, and I grieve with you and your family. Despite the great differences in our views, I had the utmost respect and affection for Larry. I regret that I never had the opportunity to come down and meet both of you in person. You and your family remain in my thoughts and prayers.

Hi there... Hope you’re holding up today.
I’m getting ready to go out and clean stalls.... been trying to see if it’s going to warm up. We’ve got 35 now, that may be as warm as it’s going to get.
