It froze here last night. I had to run around and move all the tender annuals in. It will probably get warm again, and I want to try to save them as long as I can.
You may not want to go back to what you do after the strike is over.
I take my grandkids on “vacation” about every 3 months. This next time they want to go somewhere cold:’)
I've been watching for you on the winners show. :')
Good morning...we had our first freeze here last night...the morning glories are all limp and black and look like they have turned to mush.
It is suppose to get back in the 70’s tho later in the week.

Should be another warm day here today. We might have some rain later in the week though.
Sometimes I’m very jealous of people who live in area’s such as yours, where it doesn’t get all that cold too often...but then again, I think if I was there I “might” miss the changing seasons.
Why can’t it just be 72 all the time everywhere, with rain about once a week...is that asking too much:)

I like summer and a little winter. Seasons are nice. However I don’t like windy days.
I would like rain every night for about an hour and then sunny and 70 for the day.
Take a picture of your frozen Morning Glories.. I bet they look a mess. My Impatiens finally froze.
Gak... what did that thing eat? A dog?
I'm with you on that!
This was down in Indonesia or somewhere around the Indian Ocean basin. Darn thing was so logy it couldn't move, and the road workers just hoisted it up and hauled it away.
I don't like being looked at as dinner by anything.
It is kinda fun, and it's definately different from my normal day job. But hey, I could stand to do that all day long if they paid me what they pay those guys.
I'm back in the office again for now. The Steelworkers, at least some of them, finally came in around 9 this morning. They're supposed to vote on the contract tomorrow, but they could walk back out at any moment if the mood struck them. The company must've finally got the court injunction to get the other picketers to go away because they're not out there at the moment, so it's better, but technically it ain't over 'till the fat lady sings.
That's what my dad always used to do. He didn't even rent skis.
Not with these kids. They don’t put up with me watching:’)
I’d wondered how it would work out with Rock if you had a mare there full time. He seems like a pretty layed back ol’ guy, but I didn’t know if that might be too much temptation for even him to bear.
Well, he lived here with Belle for 6 years, and we had no problems.
I’m thinking if I do bring Hope home I may put up more then just the one strand of hot wire that I have separating the runs. The problem I have doing that is getting T posts in the ground. It’s just very hard to drive them far with my rock. Right now I just have small rebarb type posts that only come up about to the top of their legs. I really think is all I had when Belle was here was one strand but I had it hooked to trees, so I could get it up higher. The only other thing I’m thinking I could do, would be to run another line, so there is an alley way between them. I could use the smaller posts to do that.
It is an issue I have been thinking about.
DAAAAAANG!!! What the heck did that snake EAT??!!
That reminds me of something I’ve been meaning to ask you...do you have hot wire at your place...have your horse’s been exposed to it?
I hate teaching a horse about hot wire:). I know how much I hate touching it.
