Heh, they have some bigass forklifts out there lemme tell ya! The one I was driving was a whole heck of a lot bigger than that. The bottom of the driver’s seat was about eye-level when I was standing on the ground beside it and I’m 5’7”. It was a diesel and could lift 30,000 lbs. And I didn’t even bump anything with it either, although sometimes I did have to back up and have another go of it when trying to get the coil lined up with the end of the pack line conveyor. There’s definitly some tricks to learning how to place a load when you can’t see where you’re going. It’s been an experience.
