>>Have you spoken to the person who gave your wife the Approval, yet?
He called her (I wasn’t home).....she ended up crying and hanging up.....told him she wanted to move out.
My next step ——??
I called my attorney on Friday.....he suggested I check if I have the latest Deed restrictions and I told him I just closed in April.....but I checked anyway and sure enough - they were outdated. ARGH !!
Anyway - I’d like the attorney to advise on the odds of prevailing in court. The HMO broke their own rules and verbally OK’d the fence but the board’s negative views on vinyl fences was never transmitted to either of us.
There’s an HMO sight on the internet and every court case I looked at - the HMO won !!! And they win court fees as well.
My friend here tells me that HMOs are breeding grounds for little Hitler’s in the Democrat party
I’m so sorry you and your wife have to go through this.
And what are the negative views on vinyl fencing?
You're right... they would have made great Hitler henchmen!
Do they not have anything better to do then to run people's lives into the ground?
At school I teach my students to think for themselves. Sounds like HMO have lost that way of thinking.
Lysie... You gotta get to a Ruth's. I took my family to the one in Minneapolis last year, and they are still talking about it!
It doesn’t rot, the color is permanent and unless you are trying to contain a herd of cattle, what’s the problem?
I wish I had more help/comfort for you two/three (pup).
We've been in a few situations where we had a choice of giving up or fighting. Win or lose, we fought.
Prayers for you, Rav.

Cripes.. sorry about your dilemma. sounds like to me the “good committee member” was hitting on your woman along the way.
I have NEVER liked suburbia. The rules that “protect” one’s property also limit you. I am quite a libertarian in some areas.
For me a mountain top owning acreage & not even seeing your closest neighbor is about right.
