I mentioned on the weekend thread that French President Nicolas Sarkozy was visiting the US in New Hampshire instead of European resorts. Apparently, he got into a brouhaha with reporters yesterday while boating. He jumped into the AP reporter's boat and let him have it verbally in French. I guess he takes vacationing with his family very seriously and when he says I want to be alone, he means it. ;-)
Someday, we may go to a Ruth's.
Bless you for having a shopping trip with your friend’s mom.
>>Have you spoken to the person who gave your wife the Approval, yet?
He called her (I wasn’t home).....she ended up crying and hanging up.....told him she wanted to move out.
My next step ——??
I called my attorney on Friday.....he suggested I check if I have the latest Deed restrictions and I told him I just closed in April.....but I checked anyway and sure enough - they were outdated. ARGH !!
Anyway - I’d like the attorney to advise on the odds of prevailing in court. The HMO broke their own rules and verbally OK’d the fence but the board’s negative views on vinyl fences was never transmitted to either of us.
There’s an HMO sight on the internet and every court case I looked at - the HMO won !!! And they win court fees as well.
My friend here tells me that HMOs are breeding grounds for little Hitler’s in the Democrat party
I’m so sorry you and your wife have to go through this.
And what are the negative views on vinyl fencing?
You're right... they would have made great Hitler henchmen!
Do they not have anything better to do then to run people's lives into the ground?
At school I teach my students to think for themselves. Sounds like HMO have lost that way of thinking.
Lysie... You gotta get to a Ruth's. I took my family to the one in Minneapolis last year, and they are still talking about it!
How Nagin continues as mayor of NO is still beyond my comprehension.
What an absolute travesty. He's responsible for the complete screw up in that city, and of the levee situation.
How does that man live with himself, knowing his in-action costs the lives of people he was suppose to protect?
It doesn’t rot, the color is permanent and unless you are trying to contain a herd of cattle, what’s the problem?
I hear so much about the bridge in MN and we should but, we also need to hear about the ripoffs by the politicians, like the Big Dig in MASS, billions thrown down the drain, ole Teddy Baby got that done.
And the MSM wonders why their numbers are down?
Good morning, all! We are getting some rain here this morning which is sorely needed, as we have been in the 90’s for several days and the heat will continue through this week.
Watched the replay of the debate yesterday evening. I was very pleased to see the candidates stand up to the moderator and reporters.
Just wanted to stop by and say hello. Have a great day!
Those Home Owners' Assoc. boards are little Hitlers imo. Your situation is exactly why my son chose to buy land and build on the city's undeveloped outskirts, where the plots were each 5 acres...the only restriction being that the acreage could never be divided.
We're heading for 97 degrees today and 100 on Wednesday. Yesterday at 5pm, my car's temp gauge showed 103 degrees. Good news? It will cool down to 93 degrees on Friday. Grrrr
Good morning all........it is still morning, I hope. A real good rain shower this morning in Hoosierland...the yard needed it. Like Carolinamon, we are expecting some high temps this week.
Thank you Lysie for starting the thread.
When they gave a few million, in 1996, to the x42 campaign, I wrote them a letter about the “campaign funds” from seniors, and asked for my money back. I have not heard from them since and yep, I didn’t get my money back, guess it was given to the corruptors campaign.
Good Morning Everyone. We had a great time in Colorado.
I wish I had more help/comfort for you two/three (pup).
We've been in a few situations where we had a choice of giving up or fighting. Win or lose, we fought.
Prayers for you, Rav.
((Rav, Mrs. Rav and Chloe))
You are welcome. Good morning.
Good morning. I missed you. So happy to hear you had a good time.
Good Morning, I’ve missed seeing you lately.
Where are you?
Bringing out the big guns...
