Re teenagers: I had 5 of them at the same time....hair dryers going all the time, phones ringing, perpetual frig raiding, water heater and washing machine going 24/7, houseful of other teenager friends yakking, laughing, and staying for supper....my sons even rigged up FOUR speakers in their small bathroom to enjoy high decimal music while they showered.
My birds have all left the nest now, flying off to their own futures. They call, they visit, and I cherish what one of them said to me: "We had the BEST time growing up, Momma!"
I just can’t get my day going today, said I wan’t going to do it but got over heated yesterday, still feel the effects too. I have GOT to learn t take it easy but you know, I just feel guilty when I do take it easy, I just want to do something to help, I have more time they the kids do.
Comrade Spector, he sure gets me hot under the collar. He has that ‘I am better than you are’ attitude not to mention he has turned his back on the man who got him re=elected.

I've never liked Specter and his habit of working against the President who helped elect him. His disloyalty and pseudo-Republican label sickens me to the core.
Guess what the precautions are against home invasion (like that horrible one in Conn.) were advanced by the Good Morning host?....Put cacti on THE window sill and wind chimes outside THE window. Then build a "safe room" inside your house.
House w/ONE window? Chimes on all windows? When the wind blows, how would you know if a burglar/killer was there? Cost and safty of building "safe room"?....door to it could be knocked down.
It never seemed to have entered the anti-2nd amendment dunce's mind that a gun might be less expensive and more effective in such a situation.

The Coopster’s oldest, my grandson, celebrates his 11th birthday today. We finally got some rain yesterday, so I don’t have to drag hoses for a couple of days. I am still spraying for Japanese beetles.
