Good morning!
A coolish morning here: Global Warming strikes again!
( I really should do better to come up with something more substantial for this space....)
We actually saw a very good cowboy song act at the last festival. Great songs like “I’m Back in the Saddle Again”, “Tumblin’ Tumbleweed” etc.
I don’t know how they can get those phrases that are in Cowboy songs coordinated to sound good live, this group sure did. And I’m not talking “ty-yi-yippee”, more complex stuff like “hee-lee-li-o-lay-ho-lee-ho”. etc.
I have enough of a challenge singing English.
:^)
Well, I'm going to wrap up some things here so I can get to the game tonite, and I'll see y'all tomorrow.
Go!!
Go! Best of luck!
In the meantime:

Flaming Gorge is a beautiful place. I’ve been camping there several times, and have done rafting there also. Now I want to go back...:)
Signing on, roosters crowing just under my window...
You’ll be happy to know that you can eat LOTS of eggs on Atkins.
;o)
Good morning, everyone.
sURE IS SLOW HERE TODAY!!!
Hi everyone!
Yes, lysie...C.C. ..he pitched well, but had little help behind him or at the plate, and I didn't end up going after all.
For one thing, Plans were changed for Sally's service, and I had to recall the singers and so forth, plus field return calls from messages I'd left earlier. If I gone to the game, my husband would have had to deal with some of that, so it's best I didn't go.
The President made a significant speech yesterday, but I doubt few know or heard, except us.
Wake up, wake up everyone!:-))
Oh!

Re: eating between meals. That means no sugar or sugar free drinks between meals. You can drink water, unsweetened tea or unsweetened coffee. No cream or milk in hot coffee or tea between meals. You can have sweetener or creams in beverages with your meals. You may find your cravings for all sweets lessening after a week or so on this way of eating.
“When it comes to natural balance, timing is everything. The rules put the body back in sync. They are not rules for losing weight; they are rules to live by. Not only will following them normalize weight. doing so protects those without weight problems from gaining weight as they grow older.
The Five Rules
Rule 1: NEVER EAT AFTER DINNER. (Allow 3 hours after dinner before going to bed.)
Rule 2: EAT 3 MEALS A DAY, and DO NOT SNACK. (allow 5 hours between meals. If you get hungry earlier than that, go ahead and eat but the next day add more protein to the meal)
Rule 3: DO NOT EAT LARGE MEALS. (slow down and enjoy your food)
Rule 4: EAT SOME PROTEIN AT BREAKFAST. (keeps you going longer. Notice it says eat some protein at breakfast. It doesn’t say only protein. Go ahead and have your grits.)
Rule 5: REDUCE THE AMOUNT OF CARBS EATEN. (Most Americans are eating twice the number of grams of carbs needed for good health)
Richards and Richards promise that the Five Rules prevent and correct Leptin, insulin, and adrenaline resistance, fatigue, and mood problems. The end result of not undertaking the rules is the inevitable failure to reach and/or maintain goal weight. Because the rules impact our brains at a core survival level, they apply to nearly everybody. Exceptions include growing youngsters, elite athletes, and people with diabetes.”
With this way of eating you don’t give up any of your favorite foods. If followed you will lose weight but it will be a slower loss. You’ll probably find an increase in energy and better sleeping as well.
THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!
Horrible story coming out of Connecticut about that family murdered.
You’re welcome.
If you saw what I ate, it’s pretty much whatever I want. This really does work.
lysie, hope your neck is better this a.m.
Now I need to get moving.
