The Salvation Army can always use dontations.
I’ve given so much stuff away, it’s not funny. One of the reasons I keep having to start all over again!
How is Anoreth’s driving these days? Is she more confident, now?

However, one of the advantages of the modern world is the miniature DC to AC inverter. Those are great. My first one was a 75 watt cigarette-lighter unit, it eventually died and was replaced with a 150 watt model. I've used it for internet connection (laptop and cellphone) during extended periods of power outage, to charge batteries for my new camera on the way to the recent camp-out, and various other things.

MMMmmmmm, that BBQ sounds REAL good.
Y’ever stop in at Berth 55 in Long Beach?
http://www.berth55fishmarket.com/door/
It’s a humble lookin’ place because it’s a working fish market, but they have a deli counter and they serve up the BEST fresh seafood you could ask for. Swordfish steak? Got it. Crab legs? Comin’ right up. Last time I was down there I didn’t see these on the menu, but I asked for their famous fish tacos, and they served ‘em right up. You’ve GOT to try ‘em sometime; OH, MAN, they’re good!!

Lose my moorings?
Y’know; I think I did do that once. Nothin’ but trouble, as I recall.
I decided, afterward, that it would be a very good thing if I delegated responsibility for my moorings to a more capable Overseer. Well, the first thing you know He says to me, “Um, since you’re at sea, and all, wouldn’t it be better if I did something productive like man the sails, or perhaps take a watch at the wheel?”
So, I gave Him a watch at the wheel and we ran so well under His charge that I made Him Captain in my stead.
Now, be it fair wind or foul, the Eye upon the binnacle, and the Hand upon the wheel never faint nor do they sleep.
Ahhh, and you should see how He can make this ship run before the wind; holding true to course o’er trough and swell, with all her sheets set to and her colors proud against the sky; tracing a defiant groove across the face of the Great Deep!
Sure, there’s somewhere I’d rather be, but for now it’s the salt air and spray off the bow that is the essence of life.

Fish market sounds good...don’t think I’ve ever been to that one.
I think my wife would have liked that better than the BBQ last night. Something about the salt rub or something else they put in the meat she didn’t like. She did like the prime rib though.

You cant get very far without them. Like, not out of the driveway! What, no circular drive?
(But then I wouldn't send her up ours -- it's steep getting up to the upper end, and if you go swing a bit too far to the right the wheels will go over the edge. We don't use it much.)

Sometimes a good thing.
There's about a 60 foot difference from the upper to the low end of our property.
