Charming is PAVED! We’ve taken over his thread.

Charming seemed like a good sort, from his/her prior postings. This one was some kind of running internet joke, but charming probably would have been okay had we not moved onto the thread and thus drawn attention to it.

Kewl! Thanks! Maybe when I get back from Utah next month, I’ll get the first one and experiment with it. I have the perfect place for it, too...shade in the morning, and full sun the rest of the day. A good winter exposure, too. And with it in a container, I can bring it in when we get hard freezes. :o])

I’m happy, now! *HUG*

Ah. I see. Or at the least, his last post saying he was “honored.” I think that was his word.

Golly. Frank doesn’t know how lucky he is to be spared, even after he was so gracious!

Well, Frank did have the pope there with him — and which Admin God would want to be known as the one who zotted the pope?

There is THAT! LOL!

I know of popes that have been poisoned, but never zotted. Not quite the time to start a precedent!

I can bring it in when we get hard freezes.

Yup. All it needs is light and air.

*HUG!*

This might help too. Interesting posts.

Is there time to save my minis? My green thumb turned brown.

Location: Las Vegas, NV

Last September I got 5 various mini-roses, transplanted them to 8 in pots, some a commercial pot soil, and some in mixed with organic pot soil. I put those pots in lined cache pots, added mulch and watered them every week -10 days. They did beautifully all fall and winter.

That’s good, considering we’ve had a drought for the last three years. But then, roses are a desert plant, so it stands to reason they would thrive here.

They should do fine. It's the wet northwest where roses have a problem.

I suppose that I should get off of here and actually DO something besides just running up and down the hill to the garden and sniffing Mr Lincoln while I water. LOL

Er...OK. LOL!

Thanks for your help! I’ll think of you when I look at my roses in the years to come. :o])

Hey, welcome to The Undead Thread: August 2007 Edition.

You now have two choices:
Be strange, or be a stranger.

Of course, if it’s the REST of the universe that’s strange, we might all be normal, but I’d consider that something of a personal disaster; I’ve never aspired to normalcy.

Scan back a hundred posts, or so, and you’ll soon get the gist of what ‘Undead’ is all about.

Thanks for stopping by. Stay if it suits you.

I really LIKED my wedding cake. We had a little fountain in the middle of it and a few of the kids entertained themselves by floating mints in the water.

Happily, what came AFTER the cake has exceeded all expectations. Oh, to be sure, I’ve been underwhelmed, at points, but the overall score (if there IS such a thing) is deep into positive territory.

Me too. Actually, we had 2 wedding cakes as we had 2 weddings...one on the West Coast, one on the East Coast. Thought it would be easier that way....too many people to have travel across the country.

That was just one of five “jokes.” I’ll post the others later on, one at a time. They’re all pretty funny.

I’m always interested in people who know how to make marriages work. I never quite got the knack of it. Maybe it was my partner that was at fault, because it seems there was a lack of interest in the long haul. Since I’m so bad at choosing, I’ve decided not to bother.

LOL!

I’m doing good if I can remember my own birthday. Good thing I don’t have any anniversaries....

Christmas, New Years, and all 3 of my wife and girls’ birthdays are within 3 weeks. Other than that, all I have to remember is July 4th (the first wedding), and August....um....I forgot....
