I always have fans going, even in the winter. I don’t like still air. And with claustrophobia, I usually have windows open, too, all year long. Silly me....I hate being closed in.

LOL!
It’s OK, I’m sure! He’s kinda busy these days, trying to rearrange his life, so he misses a lot. Not his fault, though.

I think the Sterling was the first lavender rose on the market. I couldn’t resist it.
All this talk of roses makes me want to go buy one or two and plant them in buckets so I can take them with me when I move. Do you know if they would thrive in a five-gallon bucket?

You can plant them in a big pot. They need drain holes. In warm places, where the roots won't freeze, "container roses" are a big thing. Darks has a rose that been in a pot for 4 years. We sink it in the ground in winter.

Thanks! I printed that out, because I really think I want to get a couple of bushes. What’s the nest time of year to plant them? I’ve forgotten everything I ever knew about the care and feeding of roses.... (My bad.)

In a warm climate, you can plant anytime. Here in the northeast, we can’t feed roses past Aug 15th and stop deadheading them by the end of August so they’ll quit growing before a freeze.
