In a warm climate, you can plant anytime. Here in the northeast, we can’t feed roses past Aug 15th and stop deadheading them by the end of August so they’ll quit growing before a freeze.
Kewl! Thanks! Maybe when I get back from Utah next month, I’ll get the first one and experiment with it. I have the perfect place for it, too...shade in the morning, and full sun the rest of the day. A good winter exposure, too. And with it in a container, I can bring it in when we get hard freezes. :o])
