Morning, gents. That was all very confusing.
I use the same password for everything I do, so I can always remember it. The only major exception is USPS.gov, which has tricky password rules that exclude my usual password. I had to write down my username and password, so I didn’t have to start over every time I wanted to order stamps.

I have trouble with my password, sometimes. I keep it the same for everything, but some sites have “requirements” as to what the password MUST contain. So I write it down. That way, when I’m stumped by “Invalid ID or password,” I can go look it up.
The USPS site was the first to throw me a curve.

Good morning!
It looks like the lizard is out of danger (except from the boys :-). We have to go to Wal-mart again, because James and Pat broke the lamp in the living room.

James and Pat sound rather typical for boys. I used to keep track of all the things my son broke, but it just got too long!

Yes, James and Pat (and Vlad) are typical boys. Sort of like a pack of beagles, or bassets, in James’s case.
If Der Prinz didn’t fuss so much over the things they break, it wouldn’t bother me.

I can relate to THAT!
Did the “purple hair” turn out OK? Were you brave enough to try it? LOL!

I did not color my hair purple :-).
Anoreth’s is bright magenta, doesn’t look bad at all. The color will be good for Hallowe’en, but she’ll need to get her hair cut first, and we’ll need another bottle of dye.

I kinda wish they’d had that stuff when I was young enough to wear it and get away with it!
It would really look ugly, these days! LOL!

Temporary over-dyes turned up when I was in college, so that would be the late 80’s. I bleached mine with hydrogen peroxide when I was in high school. It ended up glowing orange and took forever to grow out!
I’m glad Anoreth can mess with her hair with less risk of a major disaster.

I use the same password for everything I do, so I can always remember it. I use algorithms to generate mine (but I also store them, encrypted, on my PDA).

Sorry! I had a couple of errands to run, so I took a quick exit, stage right.
For some reason, the only thing I did to my hair as a teen, was use peroxide in one place. I now have a gray streak there. Coincidence?

I have umpteen systems at work that all require their own username/password combinations. It's difficult to keep up with it unless I document it all, and, of course, I don't want that information in plain text. So, I've resorted to a password-protected spreadsheet (Excel) file that I update every time I'm forced to change a password.
Did anyone go to the trouble of getting up in the wee hours to check out the lunar eclipse? It was in it's prime around 10:30Z (GMT). We woke the kids so they could get a look at it. They were super groggy, but glad they got to see it.
Ooops! Gotta run. Early lunch at TOGO'S with a colleague of mine.
