Well. I’m green with envy, now. I hope you’ll upload some photos for us.... At least that way, we can say, “I had a friend to went to the British Isles!”

Neat! We spent a week or so in Scotland 11 years ago, and it was nowhere near enough even to get to most of the sites, even though we focused on the Gaidhealteachd (Gaelic-speaking regions).

The lizard egg hatched! There’s a tiny long-tailed grass lizard in the dish. I hope Bill can find something for it to eat. The crickets are too big. Then we’ll need a place to put it; can’t go back in with the anoles, since that didn’t work before!
Maybe one of the other Boy Scouts would like to do Reptile Care with a free lizard.

Ohwow! Did anyone see it hatch? I bet that would have been cool to watch.
Yep...another Boy Scout would be a good thing for the little lizard.

No, we didn’t see it hatch. He just opened the plastic box it was in to check on it, and there was the lizard. If he can keep it alive until Monday, we can ask the boys in the troop if someone will take it home.

Call the local vet and see what’s the best way to help the lizard survive until you can give it to someone else.

Office computer is back on line....
Luckily, we were able to retrieve the data off the old hard drive......WHEW!
Of course, I wouldn’t have had to worry so much if I would have been doing a weekly drag and drop to my external hard drive...DUH!

I’m guilty of that. Not backing up files. My bad. I’ll have to learn how to do it all over again, it’s been so long.

Repeat after me: “Ghost is my friend.”
My home box (XP PRO) has a drive bay with a pull-out carrier that I NEVER populate unless I’m booting to my WIN XPE DVD.
About every month, I power down and put the pull out drive into that bay. Then I boot the system to my WIN XPE disk, and use Symantec’s “GHOST” software to mirror my entire primary HD image onto the HD in the pull-out carrier.
You culd accomplish the same thing with a bootable CD that had Ghost on it.

I recall in my college years picking up a book in the library entitled “The Pauline Christology”, a scholorly tome devoted to a complete exposition of St. Paul’s concept of who and what Jesus christ is. The author wrote in sentences containing so many clauses that, by the time I’d reached the end of one, I had to go back and read the subject again.
