I hope we get cooling *something*! It’s still only in the mid-80’s; that’s an improvement over yesterday.

And the trash truck came finally. They must have sent them home when it got to be 104 yesterday afternoon!

Trash trucks run 24-7 here. Including holidays. They’re usually pretty predictable, no matter what neighborhood they’re in.

Salves?

BTW... Heck of a lightning storm last night. Yummy. Only dropped about an inch of rain, but we had a solid 45 minutes of fireworks. A couple hit the trees not 50 yrds from the house. Pete slept through it. So did Ana. Kids...

Any-who... My sister completed her Masters degree. Having a party for her today. 75 and 80% humidity now, supposed to be 91 with a chance for another T-storm later. Could get interesting...

Folks here jump in their vehicles and find a spot where there are no homes, just to watch the lightning. Of course, they won’t find ME out there!

Congratulations to your sister! Have a good time at the party. Are you cooking?

Are you cooking?

Nope. Today, I am just a guest.

Tomorrow may be different. Hitting the Lake for a family get together.

The sorting hat says that I belong in Hufflepuff!

Said Hufflepuff, "I'll teach the lot, and treat them just the same."

Hufflepuff students are friendly, fair-minded, modest, and hard-working. A well-known member was Cedric Digory, who represented Hogwarts in the most recent Triwizard Tournament.

It said I was in Gryffindor. I lost it, and it’s a long test...I’ll do it again later.

Gosh, 'Face. Gryffindor is a cool House.

Not everyone can make it into Slytherin.

Not everyone can make it into Slytherin.

Some people just lack the evil gene.

The sorting hat says that I belong in Ravenclaw!

<

Said Ravenclaw, "We'll teach those whose intelligence is surest."

Ravenclaw students tend to be clever, witty, intelligent, and knowledgeable.
Notable residents include Cho Chang and Padma Patil (objects of Harry and Ron's affections), and Luna Lovegood (daughter of The Quibbler magazine's editor).

No surprise...

The sorting hat says that I belong in Gryffindor!

Said Gryffindor, "We'll teach all those with brave deeds to their name."Students of Gryffindor are typically brave, daring, and chivalrous.
Famous members include Harry, Ron, Hermione, Albus Dumbledore (head of Hogwarts), and Minerva McGonagall (head of Gryffindor).

The sorting hat was conflicted with me. I’m 86 Ravenclaw, 84 Hufflepuff, 81 Gryffindor, and 42 Slytherin. That’s a pretty darn accurate assessment.
