two boys who were rescued after their boat capsized near the lighthouse in 1942 identified Jordan as their rescuer after seeing his photograph, 26 years after he died. Sounds like a friendly ghost.

I wonder if this was the haunted lighthouse that was featured on that ghost tv show where they videoed the chair suddenly sliding across the floor. That was pretty creepy.
