World Poker Series requires a "Spoiler Alert" now?

With the Main Event fields as large as they've become, I doubt Ivey will every win it. I don't even think a guy like the late Stu Ungar would have been able to navigate such a big field, strung out or otherwise.
Speaking of Stuey, I just finished reading a very solid tome entitled "One Of A Kind: The Rise And Fall of Stuey "The Kid" Ungar". A great read, even if you already know Ungar's background and legendary stories.

There are several big names in poker who did not survive their day 1 at the main event. With the fields being so large it is very hard to survive even if you are a very skilled player. There are a bunch of donks of whom some will suck out and take out a big player.
If you want to see some other big names that are out just scroll down.

Oh well. The main event is now luck, no more skill involved.
