HONG KONG (Reuters) - A Hong Kong woman who blinded her boyfriend in one eye in a fight six years ago has been jailed for jabbing a chopstick into his other eye, a newspaper reported on Wednesday.

Last November, Po Shiu-fong, 58, accused long-time boyfriend Kwok Wai-ming, 49, of having an affair, the South China Morning Post reported.

During the row, Po stabbed a plastic chopstick into his left eye, which she had already blinded six years ago when she poked it with her finger.

This subject came up recently and I think more people are noticing the treatment of men in ads. If anything, women come off as irrational and witchy.

I heard a radio ad for a hot dog company on the Fourth of July. During the ad, a wife was chatting with a female friend over the phone.

The husband asked the wife to ask the friend if she could bring a certain brand of hot dogs to the Fourth of July cookout. The wife then yelled at the husband "for being rude" and then he repeated his desire for this specific brand. When asked by the friend what he wanted, the wife said "Hold on" and then you heard the guy screaming "Ow" in pain and a door slamming.

The wife got back on the phone and said "I just threw him out of the house and taught him not to be rude."

This is to celebrate the nation's independence?

yeah ive heard the same radio ad, although im not sure on which channel, i listen to about ten am stations. it was something about a blue box hot dog, which im probably not going to buy anyway. weei850 most likely.

if theres a commercial that sucks so bad it turns me off of that product. im not the biggest fan of ads in the first place.
