It's part of my fountain of youth project. My own fountain of youth project consists mostly of refusing to compare my age to anything more recent than, say, The Renaissance.

No cookies, tonight, but plenty of food talk upthread. Steak & mushrooms; garlic & onions... Its all good. Cruel, all of you. Went to a political fundraiser tonight, hosted by an Iranian-American friend. Got so busy talking with folks (including our congressman, though he'll always be "sheriff" to me) I didn't even get to the Persian buffet until the speech-making was over, and the food was cooling (but still delicious!!).

Wait just a darn minute! I'm 47. Who you callin' an "Old Fart?" 47? I remember 47! Or at least I think I do. 47, lessee, which century would that have been... ... ... okay. It was after electricity and before Y2K.

Good morning.
Today’s quiz question:
When you were at circus school, in trapeze class, which was your favorite part, flying or catching?

Neither. I don’t like high places so I most likely played hookey, ate cotton candy, and caught flies:-)

I’m afraid of heights, so I wouldn’t even be in the class.

Hubby just spent 10 minutes explaining why that guy isn’t dead, and I still don’t get it.
I’d have a heart attack.
