Costco steaks are the best.

Der Prinz likes Costco meats; if we have anything special, other than ground beef and chicken breasts, he gets it there.

I like Costco because I can buy in bulk and be set for a while, and make fewer shopping trips.

The ground beef and chicken are the best there too.

I like Costco because I can buy in bulk ...Me too, though it took some time before I figured out how to properly transport and store a 55 gallon drum of mayonnaise. FWIW, guys like COSTCO because shopping at COSTCO is right up there with shopping at Home Depot in terms of generating justification for dropping $40K to buy that new truck.
"Gee, honey, I know ya like that beautiful cedar wood gazebo, but we just don't have any way to get it home. Now, if I had a new truck..."

The only thing I don’t like about Costco is waiting in line to get out if I’ve only got a few items. Last Wednesday I stopped in just to get a boquet of 2 dozen roses for my P31W, and lucked out to find a line with just one person ahead of me, but that’s uncommon. I usually get stuck behind at least three people with full loads, and then it’s a 20 minute wait.

Well, I’ll see if I can find someone who shops at CostCo and tag along. I like good meat, and the local grocery stores don’t seem to have any.
I haven’t eaten anything with bleu cheese since Igor passed away. It’s one of those things I ate in self-defense, like onions....

True. So is garlic. But I try to eat them both in limited amounts, in other food. The only exception is onion rings, and even then, I’m really careful whether I’m going to have to be around someone.

Onion or garlic anything will turn you into the dragon of bad breath, unless you have some gum around.

Trust me...gum does NOT cover either one. It just makes them smell like minty garlic and minty onion.
The reason is that garlic and onion, (especially garlic) is carried in your bloodstream, and you will sweat out the odors so that everyone around you gets an unforgettable dose when they inhale.

Better yet, don’t eat a lot of garlic and onions. If you do, allow at least eight hours for them to work through your system, so there is no more odor.
Of course, if the person you’re with eats a lot of it, you should probably eat it, too. That way, you can’t smell the other person.

I don’t go there - I just email a list to my husband. I used to go to Sam’s for millions of diapers, but then they put a Super Wal-mart less than a mile away!

Igor was...”strange,” to be kind. He had been in the navy for almost 30 years.... He learned how to eat strange things.
