I not only get mentally depressed with overcast/imminent rain, but physically as well. I can’t think, I can’t function in any but rudimentary movements, and my brain becomes gray lint.

I’m so happy for the days when the sun shines down!

Er...my guests can stay away...I miss my FReeping when I have company or phone calls, both of which are in scant quantities, luckily.

Heavy overcast doesn’t bother, but glare does. (the rain has stopped, it’s getting lighter outside, so I need to close the blinds again.)

I’ve had a few FReepers take pot shots at me. Of course, my mother always said, “Consider the source.”

If they want to be rude to me, they certainly may. It doesn’t mean I have to respond in kind. It just means that until further notice, I’ll ignore them.

We get a lot of days with glare. Of course, most of it comes from the pavement....

My grandaprents used to have roller blinds in their big, living room windows, but the material wasn’t opaque, it was window tinting; mirrored from the outside, and dark tinted from the inside. So, when the glare from the street got too bad, pulling down those shades cut it quite nicely without shutting off the view.
